For your personal 2011 form 1040 (user IDs will only be issued through April 1, 2012)

The Tax Notebook is much more than just a web-based Tax Organizer - it helps ensure that you never overlook important tax data and it is easy to complete.  After you link to the Tax Notebook designed exclusively for you, answer all the questions and fill-out relevant sections of the Tax Notebook online.  When your Tax Notebook is complete, you can print a copy or save it as a PDF for your own records.  You then submit your tax data to us with just a click of a button over the internet, or optionally you can mail a copy to us.  Your information is secure and is not seen by anyone outside my office.

A selection of optional generic tax organizers are available as a PDF or fill-in MS Word file:
Client Tax Organizer (5 page PDF).    Individual Income Tax Organizer (8 page PDF).    2011 Income Tax Organizer (4 page PDF).    2011 Income Tax Organizer (4 page MS Word Document).    Save any one of these various general organizers to your computer, then fill them in, save your work and then email or print and mail to us.

NOTE:
  • Engagement Letter & IRS Disclosure and Use Authorization Form - Please read both of these and sign one or both before starting!

  • Form 1040 data only!   Separate Businesses Tax Returns - do not input any information regarding separate entities, such as your partnership, LLC, or corporation.

  • Stocks - Do not enter more than about 5 sales of securities.  More than that will need to be handled separately (please contact us to discuss).

  • Depreciation - Do not enter in excess of about 5 depreciable assets.  More than that needs to be handled separately.

  • Vehicles and Real Estate - Please submit invoices and "HUD" closing statements for acquisitions or sales after 2010.
